David's mastery for his user research and user experience design have been critical to the company's growth and completion of the project that we worked on. He was very conscientious and dedicated to his work. David has a positive attitude and a desire to produce quality work that served him well, it sets a great example for the rest of the team and explains why everyone loves working with David.
I have worked with David in the early days of our product "Dmails", he was very helpful, always gives advice for the best UX/UI, he is a very creative person and always committed. I love to work with him again and again
I'm currently in the Singapore/China timezone, which is +8GMT. However, timezone usually does not affect my working hours due to the limited number of work I accept. If the client is on timezone with a considerable time difference, but I have an existing client, I would usually decline the job due to health reason. I believe good sleep leads to great work.
I've been designing for more than 5 years and I recently found the joy in mentoring other designers who are starting to dip their toe into product design. My focus on the next 5 years is to create a personal brand and educate other designers to the best of my ability. Career wise, I'm more interested in remote work and would want to continue to expand my experience in emerging tech that have a wider impact to create more good.
I have two very beautiful dogs I've adopted. I spend a lot of my time walking them, caring them like my own child. I also organise a small designer meetup group with Figma every two month. Apart from design, I also started planting hydroponic plant and been making continuous improvement on the hydroponic set up.
I usually charge clients on a project basis depending on their project scope. However, my current hourly rate is $95/hour. However, in some case, if some projects are both exciting and have massive growth potential but could not offer financial compensation, I'm open for taking a percentage of the company share or sales as compensation to launch the project.
